Objectives

1) To contribute to the digital transformation and digitalization of vocational training in the field of arboriculture and urban forestry by establishing a virtual certification center.

2) To develop a certification program in arboriculture, thereby improving the quality of work within organizations and institutions involved in the sector across Southeast Europe (EQF Level 3).

3) To adapt existing vocational training programs for the profession of European Tree Worker to the Southeast Europe region, ensuring a positive and lasting impact on organizations and training institutions.

4) To enhance the educational system in urban forestry and arboriculture by creating a unified European publication and accompanying digital tools.

5) To raise awareness among stakeholders in training and spatial planning systems (local authorities) about the need to promote ecological sustainability in line with EU policies and strategic green space planning.

6) To strengthen the participating organizations for international activities and improve their capacity to work effectively with end users through the exchange of best practices.

Planned Results

1) Development of a new certification training program (curriculum) in arboriculture and urban forestry.

2) The establishment of a virtual certification center through the development of a digital platform, enhancing the digitalization of training in urban forestry and arboriculture.

3) Creation of a unified European publication on urban forestry and arboriculture.

4) Increased ecological awareness among all project stakeholders and the extended network post-project completion.

5) Strengthened organizations involved in international activities and the establishment of new forms of cross-sector collaboration.

6) Development of an e-learning system as a supplementary digital tool for education within vocational training institutions and forestry faculties.

7) Creation of a Green Infrastructure Strategy in the field of arboriculture for urban agglomerations where partner organizations operate.
